New Market - Frederick D. Haffner, died at his home at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday. He was an employee of Ingress-Plastene, Inc. for the past 15 years. Mr. Haffner was born June 8, 1919, the son of Vora and Lola Livengood Haffner near Crawfordsville. He was graduated from Crawfordsville High School. He was married Oct. 4, 1949, to Pearl (Shoaf) Estelle. She survives. Other survivors include his father of New Ross; two sons, Gerry at home and Larry of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Berty Hardin of Huntsville, Ala., and Sandra Barnes of Danville, Ill.; a brother, Donald Haffner of New Ross and two stepsons, Daniel and Ernest Estelle of Ladoga. Services will be conducted at Hunt & Son Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. William Mallott officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday. - kbz
